I'm a special girl looking for someone with a patient and kind heart.  My sister, Amanda, and I came here as VERY frightened pups.  No one knows what we've been through, but we've learned from the staff and volunteers here that people can be kind, and we are slowly learning to trust.  I'm more outgoing, but still shy until I know you.  Inside though, is a rompin' and rollin', sweet, happy girl just begging to get out!  I love water and other dogs to play with and I'd be a good fit with kids older than 4.  I'm training to be housebroken, and to LOVE!  Be the first to capture my heart and teach me how great a real home is!

I'm Ramsey, a good-looking dog with a playful nature.  I've had some training so I know how to sit and I'm housebroken.  However, I cannot be crated.  I get along with most other dogs and would love a playmate and a big yard and maybe some older kids.  I walk nicely on my leash but I have a strong chase instinct if I see a critter.  (I can probably only live with cats who like a good chase and have a sense of humor!).  Are you the right match for me?  I'd love a home in time for Christmas!

Quiero una casa!!!  (I want a house!).  I'm a tiny little guy who needs a happy home.  I came from a rescue group and I'm happy to be at Tri County where I know I'm going to find my soul mate soon!  I'm here with other Chihuahua mixes, Todd and Mortekai, and we are all intimidated because 1. we are the smallest dogs here and 2. we never had a real home with real love.  Imagine our happiness at being held and snuggled by the volunteers and staff here as we learn what love is all about and wait for YOU to find us!  I'm training to become housebroken, and good with kind children, cats, and other dogs.  Right now I really just need consistent TLC.  Show me the love!

Whew, I had a close call!  I was found on the streets and near death, skinny and ill and with mange.  Weeks of wonderful care from the Tri County staff saved my life and LOOK AT ME NOW!  What a handsome and unique boy I am!  I'm housebroken and neutered, too.  I like people and can live with older kids but no cats or other dogs please.  My life's been rough and now I deserve to be someone's only pet and receive ALL the love.  I'm playful and sweet and rarin' to go, so show me the LOVE!

I'm a fluffy and timid boy in need of a special, patient person with air conditioning!  I was found a few years ago with 4 other dogs (1 is still here...Farah) tied up in the woods and left to die.  We are fearful but not aggressive if treated kindly and gently, and we've been here far too long.  I'd like a loving home where I can feel safe and relaxed at last.  I am quite sweet once I know you. I get along with older, gentle kids and most other dogs.  I'm very well housebroken and walk nicely on a leash. My fur is VERY thick, so if you have A/C (or a summer home in a cold climate!), that would be great!  Please give me the settled life I deserve after a rough few years.

I'm hearing a lot lately about HOPE and CHANGE.  I could use both!  I've had a rough go of it, and I have some fear from my pre-Tri County days.  I seem to be more comfortable with men than women.  I'm working hard on learning to trust again with the staff and nice volunteers here, but I really need a home.  I dream of feeling safe, settled, and loved.  I'm housebroken and get along well with some dogs, though I must request a home without children.  I enjoy my walks and have good leash manners.  If you are kind and patient and want to rescue me, let's meet.  I really need you.

Murphy here, ready to meet you.  This is my HAPPY TO MEET you face!  You see,  there I was, enjoying my life, when I suddenly became homeless.  I was quite shocked and awed to find myself in a shelter, and at first I was very afraid and wary.  I am trying to settle in nicely and adjust well, though I don't plan to be here long.  I love the attention I get from the volunteers here, and I'll park my head in a lap for some loving.  I'm good with most other dogs and I'm housebroken, but I do request a home without children.  Rescue me and I'll love you forever!
