Along with your new companion animal, your adoption includes:

- pre-adoption physical examination
- Heartworm test
- Rabies vaccination (for canines 12 weeks and older)
- Distemper/Parvo vaccine
- Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine
- Treatment for internal parasites
- A Free examination from one of three recommended vets, Regency Veterinary Clinic, Clint Moore Animal Hospital or Calusa Veterinary Center (up to 1 year after adoption).

We make every attempt to keep this list current and there may be other adoptable dogs at the shelter. To meet any of our animals, call us at 561-482-8110 or visit our shelter at 21287 Boca Rio Road in Boca Raton, FL.

Special needs dog? Who? I hear there's one here but....wait...me? Nah. I can run and play and be happy as a clam, so it can't be ME. I'm Pandora, and they say I have a neurological problem with my hind end. I use a doggy-wheel chair to get around and take 'power walks.' I was recently the star of a Doggy Meet and Greet, so have no fear that I'm just going to let you lay around the house!

I'm active, playful and happy just like any dog should be. I'd love some kids to live with and I can probably teach them a thing or two about not complaining or feeling sorry for yourself. I like cats and other dogs, too. Did I mention I'm just darn adorable, too? Please ask to meet me. I need a loving home so I can love RIGHT BACK AT YOU!

You may not notice me as you pass my cage because I'm very shy and often stay in the back where I feel safer. I was brought here as a pregnant stray and I had some cute puppies who have all found homes. They came into the world without the fears that I've collected from a life on the streets. I'm learning from the volunteers and staff here that I can trust people, but I'd like a real home and some consistent love. I get along fine with older, gentle kids and with cats and other dogs. I'm a pretty, brindled-faced girl who just needs a bit of TLC. Got some to spare?

Thanks for noticing me...I'm a shy girl who really needs some special attention to bring me out of my shell. I am very frightened in here and find it hard to trust anyone. I'm a 30 lb., spayed, well house-trained lady just waiting for the right match so I can feel secure and blossom into the sweetie I am. I need a home with no kids, and I am not sure I can live with other dogs or cats either. I really need to overcome a rough past. All I know for sure is that I hope for a loving and patient person willing to dole out some TLC to me. Shelter life is not for me...help me feel wanted?
