Help Tri County Save an Animal

Let's Make a Happy Ending for
One Little Five-Week Old Boy!!!

Stitch was born to a very young mother who had too many puppies. She killed four and then attacked Stitch. She ripped his ear and bit a hole in the side of his face. Stitch is now blind and has some brain issues that need to be checked out.

Stitch is slower than his siblings and smaller. But he is getting around and eating. He can learn to map his way around if blind. What he needs is good medical attention and a lot of tests to see the extent of the damage that his mother caused him.

Donna Carrigan with Tri-County Humane Society and Palena Dorsey with Sanctuary Animal Refuge received emails about this little one and could not let it pass. Plans were then arranged for Stitch to get to Florida from Maryland. Thanks to Kristel of Maryland, who arranged for Stitch to get into rescue; Nancy Landry of Beverly Hills, Fl, who was the person who sent the emails for pleading for Stitch; Ron and Pam Ranaldi, private pilots in New Jersey who donated their time and flight, Stitch arrived Sunday. As Ron said he’s flying “Stitch’s Private Jet”. It has not been an easy task to get him to safety but through the commitment of many and the dedication of rescues working with each other to make it happen has again worked in saving one life.

Donna will be Stitch’s foster mom as he needs to be bottle fed and spoon fed his softer foods and need 24 hour care. Stitch will need to be tested by both an eye specialist and a neurologist to see what can be done for him.
