| Boy Scouts Raise Donations for Tri County | |||||||||||||||||
| Kyle Heckman and James Wenyon from Troop #326 were working on their Citizenship in the Community Award. One of the services they provided was to go to their school and church and ask for donations for the Tri County Humane Society. They made flyers, put a notice in the church bulletin, made posters, and collected and distributed the items to the Tri County Humane Society. They were very happy that this is a no-kill facility and were eager to help this organization. Here are Kyle (left) and James (right) during their visit on the day that they dropped off the donations. | |||||||||||||||||

| Reball Madness Birthday Party Raises $$$ & Donations for Tri County | |||||||||||||||||
| My name is Braydon, and I recently was asked by my parents what I wanted for my 14th birthday. My answer was I don't need anything. I decided to ask my friends to join me for dinner after school, play reball at Reball Madness and get some ice cream. I really did not need anything or want anything for myself.
After hearing about puppy mills and watching animal rescue shows on TV, I wanted to do something to help. My friends thought it was a great idea when I asked for donations to the Tri County Humane Society in lieu of birthday gifts. With two on-line donations, personal checks, and cash totalling $200.00 as well as other items like paper towels, cat food, two TV's, towels, rugs, shampoo, copying paper, bleach, and a blender. I was thrilled to be able to help our animal friends and happy that my friends came through to make this happen. I have attached a couple of pictures of my friends at my party that helped make my birthday a special day. Today was the first time I've ever been to the Tri County Humane Society. After seeing what they do for the animals and what they need (the wish list) I will be happy to help again in the future. |

| Young Student Spends Summer Vacation Helping Our Shelter Animals | |||||||||||||||||
| Mary Fedele, a fifth grade student at Spanish River Christian School in Boca Raton spent her summer collecting items on the Wish List for Tri County Humane Society in Boca Raton. She also did odd jobs and the money she earned ($210.00) was donated to Tri County for the animals. When not out earning money for Tri County, Mary was very busy coming to the Shelter to take pictures of the staff and animals and created a beautiful scrapbook for our lobby. Mary and her family visit the Shelter regularly to see the dogs and give them treats and other much needed items. Mary is an inspiration to all young students who have a desire to spend their time helping the homeless animals. | |||||||||||||||||
