“Yappy Hour” A Big Hit For Homeless Animals

On June 29 Pineapple Grove Main Street, Inc. kicked off its new “Yappy Hour” event.  The socials will be held monthly to help promote the Pineapple Grove District in downtown Delray, and the money raised through raffle prizes donated by the merchants of the district will benefit local animal rescue organizations.

The first event raised $110 for Tri-County Humane Society, the 100 percent no-kill animal shelter located on Boca Rio Road in Boca Raton.

Pineapple Grove Main Street, Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the arts district. The organization partnered with Paws &Kisses, havedog.com as well as other merchants for this first event.

Heidi Hill of "Peace of Mind Animal Care Services" also contributed to the event.
